# Waiting Time

Waiting time is added to the service duration for preparation or cleanup.

* Calculate the time needed between appointments for note-taking or cleaning. Adding waiting time ensures you have enough time for this.

#### Example:

* If you have a 30-minute service but it takes 10 minutes to clean up afterward, add 10 minutes of waiting time. On your schedule, the appointment will take a total of 40 minutes.
* Waiting time is not displayed to customers. The actual service duration appears on your Booking Page.

#### Add waiting time to a service.

1. Go to "Services" and select the service.
2. Click on "Buffer Time" and add the duration.
3. Click "Save"!
